Neighborhood Film Company’s office is the definition of rad - it’s everything your favorite coffee shop and Pinterest photo wants to be like. While I was in Philadelphia with St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children, NFCo had me capture their workspace for their new website (not released yet). This was such a fun project to work on. The combination of natural light and intricate details was right up my alley. Deer antlers, hardwood desks, tables covered in maps… the vibes are too good. If you are every in Philadelphia, be sure to drop by and say hello. Shout out to Adam Mayer (Adam Made It) who made some of the desks you see below. You can see more of his work at adammadeit.com.
Holy moly, it’s been forever since my last blog post - really sorry for not keeping you all updated on my life ;) haha! I know I don’t often write with my posts, but since it’s been so long, I wanted to let you know a few things about what I’ve been up to. If you take a look at my portfolio (you don’t have to right now), you’ll notice a new section called “commercial.” There, you’ll find the images I shot for St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia back in February. St. Chris is going to use them as part of a new ad campaign called “Up,” which is coming soon! If you’re ever in Philly, you may notice a few of my photos on billboards, buses, etc. Crazy! There’s a chance this commercial thing could become a big part of my life in the near future - we’ll see.
While I was in Philly for that gig with the hospital, I was also working on a film I had shot right before I left; a promotional film for a sled dog race that takes place in my hometown called The Iron Line. This race is wild… and it’s amazing that it happens right here in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. I’m pretty proud of it :) I’m currently finishing that film right now too so be looking for that over the next week!
Then I was in Southern California for a few shoots (including the one you see below!). These are the graduation pictures I took for my beautiful girlfriend, Holly. She graduates from APU in May! We shot them at Joshua Tree and then camped there for a day afterwords. We ended up running into a few friends while we were there too, which doubled our fun. If you live near Southern California and have never been, you’re really missing out. Go asap. It is absolutely breathtaking.
Lastly, I wanted to give a special thank you to all my clients. Every single one of you is number one. Seriously! I really appreciate all of you.
